Gone Fishing Trailer Goes Live!

Quicktime2 Today Eddie Hamilton cut together a trailer for Gone Fishing. This is for film festivals that now seem to require it, even for a short. Eddie cut it in HD so we can make various versions all the way up to 1080P (which apparently some festivals may request).

We had some fun and games with Quicktime, which is very fussy and seems to have playback issues with contrast and saturation. Even the file we have uploaded plays differently in a web page to how it plays if you save it to your desktop and watch in Quicktime player (even though technically you should be using the same Quicktime engine to playback both!).

The difference in quality is quite pronounced and I may go back and re-author the webpage so it launches the Quicktime player instead of playing it back in a browser. I did a frame grab to compare the two – you can see it here for those interested.

Check it the trailer and let us know what you think. You can view it here.

Onward and upward!
