It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!

The video says it all really… The calendar shoot was a VERY long day and among everything else going on, really put a strain on my life. BUT, by making this calendar, we will be raising around £5k for a local cancer hospice.

The next stages are going to be Photoshop retouching and layout in InDesign, before sending off to the printers – the Calendars will be big and bright, A3 sized, and as yet, prices are not fixed, but I suspect they will be around £10-£15 – proceeds going to charity as mentioned. In due course, I will post a link if you want to buy one.

Vernon, DP for Gone Fishing came along, under the strict conditions that we had a defibrillator standing by – he was a terrific help as he has so much experience shooting models, and that experience really showed in the images we were getting.

We hope to run this event a few more times for other organised groups of girls as it’s so much fun for everyone involved – especially the girls who left walking six inches taller (maybe they just didn’t take those red shoes off!) You know, they kept their makeup on when they went to the pub afterward!

I cannot wait to see the final product. If the 2006 calendar we did for them is anything to go by, it’s going to be AWESOME! You can now view it HERE.

Onwards and upwards!
