Tonight I am hoping that I will get hold of the very first draft of a screenplay for a feature film we will be shooing in February, which for now we are calling Project Nightwatcher (the name will almost certainly change).
The idea is simple. It’s micro budget, using what we have to hand (namely a film studio as a back drop), shot at night, on the new Red camera, with a small cast…This is building on all the principles of low budget film making – minimal cast, use your own world as a location, single location story, ideally with facilities on site (loos, catering etc.)
In the coming weeks, I will be revealing much more about how this project has come about, and how you can be involved too… But for now, watch the video, and sleep tight…
Onwards and upwards!

Wow this sounds awesome!
Great to see it reaching this stage. Spooooooooky!
Hi Chris,
Love the new project, but I am a sucker for a good ghost story!-and thank God for a filmmaker that shares the journey, warts and all. This is great for my students.
Tomorrow I will be showing my 2nd year degree students your film Gone Fishing-and from that they will be devising some interesting questions about the filmmaking process with you when we can organise a date-hopefully soon.
