EXAM is officially released in cinemas today, and in case you have skipped the blog for the last week, let’s recap – we have a REALLY exciting event on Sunday afternoon (10th Jan), at the Odeon, Panton St, Central London at 2.15. The movie will be screened, not off 35mm as I had first thought, but with a DCP – Digital Cinema Package – the new way to distribute films professionally and digitally(so we can add that process to stuff we will be talking about) followed by an exclusive 90 minute film makers Q and A and movie autopsy, all in the same Odeon theatre.
Writer Director Stuart Hazeldine has given us access to his screenplay BEFORE you get to see the film too, so there is an awesome learning experience open to you right there, but you must act now as this is the only screening where you will be given access to both the film makers and the screenplay (sign up now and we will email you shooting script right away). Empire Magazine has now hit the streets, with a DOUBLE PAGE feature AND a glowing REVIEW of EXAM. You can read the double page feature here, and the review here. It’s amazing that both big players, TOTAL FILM and EMPIRE have given EXAM such glowing four star reviews. Mark Kermode is the next biggie this afternoon on radio five live, but we don’t know if he will get to it (as there are a lot of big films released in cinemas this week).
