Well Bollywood has just done a genuine, all guns blazing 100% rip off. No phone call. No deal. No permission. Just rip off the movie. Even take credit for the writing!
I am not sure what Stuart and Gareth will do about this, but it is at best hilarious, at worst, sickening!
But hey, when Bollywood is remaking you, you know you are getting somewhere!

I’m just gonna split hairs here Chris. Not that it makes any difference to your point about uncredited rip-offs, but if this is a Telegu-language film, it ain’t “Bollywood”. The Telegu industry in Tamil Southern India is quite separate from Mumbai-based Bollywood.
This is quite typical of Bollywood (not to say its right!) Once saw a Bollywood flick called ‘Ek Ladka Ek Ladki’ which was a shot-by-shot remake of Overboard. There’s been LOADS of unlicensed remakes of classics (http://www.bollywoodtrends.net/2009/04/bollywood-and-plagiarism-list-of.html).
