Sedona International Film Festival IS A HIT!

Day one of my visit to the Sedona Film Festival kicked off with a fantastic screening of Gone Fishing today. What has really struck me here is just how relaxed, charming and ‘feeling’ the community seems to be. I know Sedona has a kind of hippy trippy reputation, and if that’s what I am experiencing, I like it! Really, everyone is so very nice. The festival has immediately jumped to joint number 1 spot in my mind, alongside the equally excellent Rhode Island Film Festival we attended last summer.

The video says it all really. Tomorrow are the awards (Sunday) so all fingers crossed…

UPDATE – I just got a mail from a lovlely chap I met, who wrote a review on the loacl Prescott Website – you can read it here…

Onwards and upwards!

Chris it was great to meet you in Sedona. And by the way, holy crap, I must live in a cave. I did not know you wrote the Guerrilla books. They have been talked about by my friends for years. In the credits of Gone Fishing it said to buy your book. Done.

Thank you sir, for your kind words, seemingly endless energy, inspiration and the permission to “fuck up”.

As I said to you, I would never ask for a job, but an opportunity to work with you if you ever shoot in America.
