The Internet Movie Database, IMDB, has just made a minor leap that is well overdue – you can now upload trailers and clips to the site – it works, and the quality is terrific. You can view the Gone Fishing page on IMDB here, and the trailer too. If you have not yet voted on IMDB, then please vote for it now – we need every vote – you can read easy instructions of how to do it here if you can’t figure it out.
Next week is Turner Classic Movies week – there are screenings of the six nominated films on Sunday afternoon, and the awards are on Wednesday night. I must admit, I am giddy with excitement. I am particularly excited because the film will be screened, along with the other six, and a HUGE screen, and we will also be shown on 35mm. And CRIKEY – look at the judges, here.
Awesome. On the Film Festival Front we have just been accepted into two further festivals – The My Hero Short Film Festival in LA, more details here, and the Anchorage International Film Festival in Alaska, that has the snappy slug line, ‘films to freeze for…’ I would dearly love to go to Anchorage, but the festival clashes with the Bahamas International Film Festival, and even my twisted view of the world can’t skew that one – Anchorage? Bahamas? Hmmm…
Onwards and upwards!

Whoah! Nice panel of judges indeed! You see, I have admired Cillian Murphy since I first saw him in Batman Begins. Terrific actor. And the same with James Franco…though my girlfriend does like him much more than I do, lol 😀
Good luck on the awards!
