Watch the video first, it says it all!
The Bahamas Ingternational Film Festival has kicked off in full swing. The weather is warm, bright and breezy, as is the company. For such a young festival, only five years old, it’s extremely well organised and attended – last nights astonishing Versace Opening Night Party is a testament to that.
Gone Fishing screened today and everyone who saw it seemed to love it. And already, new doors are opening as I meet new and possibly exciting collaborators for future projects, people who have seen the film here and want to talk turkey.
After the next day or so, things settle down and I can get on with working on scripts, which is one reason I chose to attend the festival (aside from the weather of course!).
Onwards and upwards!

Looks like a James Bond set? Well could be they filmed some of the best bits from Casino Royale out there. One of Ian Flemings fav places to set his stories. Undoubtably a great place for inspiration relaxation and err bacardi’s or even Martinis you just have to go to the bar and ask for a martini shaken but not stirred it just has to be done.
Well, if there was ever anything to make a man jealous, this is it.
Calendar shoots, award winning film, the Bahamas – this is turning into a very good year for you, Mr Jones!
A ton of fun as I am here too, but the best film so far has been “Gone Fishing”.
